Five things people do on the internet that are useless

Although the internet is a great way to get information, it is filled with a bunch of idiots that don't know what the heck they are doing with their lives.  This is five things people do on the internet that are useless and a big waste of time.
1) Stalking their exes
People nowadays have a TON of social media platforms.  So it's very easy to stalk someone and see what they're up to.
But, in reality, stalking your ex online just makes you more depressed or sad.  Now unless it's been YEARS since you dated that person, you're probably not going to get a good laugh out of it.
Like seriously, IT'S A WATSE OF TIME!!! All your going to see is how much fun they're having without you, their new girlfriend/boyfriend or how they're getting over you.

2) Posting lies about what they are doing
So, they will put on training shoes, dress in sports gear and even grab a water bottle just so they can take a selfie.  Do they actually go and exercise? No, instead they grab a packet of chips and scroll through their instagram feed.

3) Posting stuff just so people know they are alive
Like seriously, people will take a picture of their lamp, just so their followers know that they are alive.  YOU DON'T HAVE TO POST SOMETHING EVERY HOUR!!!

4) Creating internet cliques
Creating friends on the internet is okay, but creating cliques is just stupid.  Like, they surf the internet together, tag each other in EVERYTHING and make the internet hell for everyone else.

5) Creating accounts they won't follow through with
So, people will make accounts, and will be super eager to gain followers.  Then they quit after a month, and their account is just left there.  So I'm thinking "Well that was a waste of your life."
